Rockpool Recruitment is a brand new boutique consultancy offering exceptional service to businesses, helping them to find the very best talent. Our vision is to create a highly effective recruitment company that people simply want to do business with. We care...a lot – our only driver is to get things right for our candidates our clients and our people.
We are specialists in the travel industry nationwide but are also able to help local businesses with generalist recruitment on the permanent side.
We are REC registered so you can be assured we work ethically and to the highest standards.

I made my first placement in 1996 (!) and I loved everything about it. I loved the fact I had a candidate crying happy tears down the phone because they were so thrilled, I loved the fact that I had provided a solution to the client who had been trying to find someone suitable for a long time and I loved the sense of achievement and satisfaction it gave me. It was a good day and I thought at once that I had found something that I truly enjoyed.
Fast forward 23 years and I am sat here as the Founding Director of Rockpool Recruitment and I still get that same feeling when we find someone a job and provide a solution to our client and that’s because I really care.
Throughout my 22 years in recruitment, working for 4 different businesses and also being a candidate and a client at various times – I came across a lot of people in the industry that didn’t care and it showed. (I hasten to add I also came across some exceptional recruiters).
At Rockpool we really care about getting it right – that is our only driver. We are not constrained by KPIS or red tape or internal advertising rules. We will do what we need to, to find a solution for our clients and the right roles for our candidates. We don’t give up.
We also truly care about our employees – the team can’t do a good job at looking after you if they are not being looked after themselves. We are unconventional – we work flexible hours, fitting round dogs and children and hobbies but with our primary focus to make our team and our customers happy.

Right from the start we wanted our customers to know that we are a business that conducts itself ethically, to the highest standards and promotes good practice. This is why one of the first things we did was talk to REC about becoming one of their members.
You can’t just join – you must pass a compliance test which we did with flying colours and we have worked closely with the REC to ensure that we are abiding by their code of practice at all times.
We observe the highest principles of ethics, equity, integrity, professional conduct and fair practice in dealing with clients, candidates, collegues and suppliers and conduct our business in a manner designed to enhance the operation, image and reputation of the recruitment industry and REC members. Ethical conduct is not simply compliance with legal requirements but extends to honesty, respect for and equitable treatment of others, integrity and social responsibility, all of which we are proud to do.
